The Energy Charter
We were tasked with creating an accessible 'Easy Information' version of two Power Outage Plan microsites for the Energy Charter–one for people who use life support equipment and another for families and communities. This included Plain English web copy, as well as Auslan videos with closed captions for people who are Deaf and hard-of-hearing, and downloadable Easy Read PDFs (tagged for people with low vision) for people with intellectual/cognitive disability.
HomePlace
Service Agreement Videos
For this disability support provider, we produced a series of animated videos using diverse illustrated characters to simplify and clearly explain their service agreement. This included a captioned video on how to make a complaint, featuring a participant with intellectual disability sharing the process in their own voice.
Woodville Town Hall
Woodville Town Hall Access Guide:
For the Woodville Town Hall, we developed a visual story outlining the arrival and seating process to improve accessibility for visitors. This included content written in Plain English, photographs capturing the venue's key features and location, as well as PDF tagging for screen readers.
City of Charles Sturt
We collaborated with the City of Charles Sturt to create an Easy Read version and Auslan video summary of their 2026-2030 DAIP. In doing so, we reaffirmed their 2nd commitment of ‘Leading by example’ (to build a positive culture of disability access and inclusion in their organisation and community) and 5th commitment of ‘Communicating accessibly’ (to make sure everyone can access information in ways they understand). This project conveyed to the approximately 400 community members who engaged in consultation that they are welcome, heard, and have equal access to the things that make the City of Charles Sturt a great place to live.
